Naturopathic medicine allows Rose to actualize preventative health care.
Since her graduation from National College of Natural Medicine in 2002, Rose practiced as a primary care physician at Nature Cures Clinic in Portland, Oregon. Her naturopathic family medical practice addressed many needs in the areas of oncology, endocrinology, gynecology, pediatrics, physical medicine, gastroenterology, and detoxification.
In addition to having a 10 year primary care practice in Portland, Oregon Dr. Rose and her family just spent three years in Philadelphia. There she worked as a Naturopathic Oncology Provider at Eastern Regional Medical Center, an integrated cancer hospital. She collaborated with medical oncologists, surgeons and radiation oncologists to achieve the most positive outcomes for cancer patients. Naturopathic medicine has proven to be a wonderful adjunct to conventional cancer therapies for reducing side effects and improving quality of life during and after a cancer diagnosis. Since then, Dr. Paisley has honed her craft and attention towards supporting women and children going through cancer treatment and beyond.

Education
Rose was born in California and was always inspired by the joy of being active outdoors. She discovered her passion to study the human body early on in high school and now has over 10 years of training in Health Sciences. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in pre-med from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she attended naturopathic medical school at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington and completed her degree at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2002.
Additional Interests
With a deep love of travel and community health, Rose complimented her education with a six week internship in Borneo. Accompanied by a medical team, she provided wellness care and disease managment through villages along the Baram River, attended a rotation at a Hospital in Marudi, studied ethnobotany and plant medicine in the company of her host family in a Kayan Village and attended an international conference on the challenges of providing rural health care. Upon returning, her work abroad was recognized and accredited in of three courses: Spirituality and Medicine, Traditional Medicine in the Baram, and Primary Care in Rural Communities.
Rose attends a minimum of 50 hours of continuing education per year in areas that enhance her expertise in integrated medicine. She is most passionate about naturopathic oncology, endocrinology, women’s health, gastroenterology, prevention and wellness education.

Rose loves nature, adventure, local flavor and any opportunity to celebrate. She seeks to contribute to an inspiring social environment and is passionate about integrated health education. She is committed to empowering her patients and her community in a variety of settings such as public speaking engagements, teaching health and wellness to professionals, corporate wellness programs, holistic health plan development and detoxification programs.
Joys
Rose attributes her love of life and infectious laughter to her amazing family, including her husband Greg and two beautiful daughters, Lola and Viva. Her hobbies include cooking, surfing, biking, crafting, gardening, and living with an open heart and mind.
